Contrax Furnishings Launches New Look and Web Site
September 22, 2008: Contrax Furnishings – the leading full-service supplier of educational furnishings – announces the relaunch of its brand. The company has completed more than 400 turnkey projects during its 20 years in business – as well as filling everyday small orders – establishing an industry-wide reputation for exceptional products, service, reliability and integrity.

The updated corporate image is designed to assure current customers that Contrax Furnishings remains committed to the same high level of service, while also conveying its comprehensive scope of services to potential customers. Contrax Furnishings hired Technetium Creative – an integrated marketing and creative design firm located in Maitland, Fla. – as its agency of record to develop and implement the company’s rebranding. The new brand elements consist of the following:

Web site – Although keeping the same URL, www.contraxfurn.com, the Contrax Furnishings’ Web site is completely redesigned with a contemporary look. Bold graphics, photos of students in classroom settings, bright colors and Flash “slide show” elements carry through the design look of the company’s new collateral for a consistent brand image. The site has also been reconfigured for easier use by all visitors, and easier access and navigation for registered users. Corporate sales videos will be added soon.

Logo – Contrax Furnishings’ new logo incorporates a stylized apple, pencil and “printing” to convey the company’s focus on the education market. The logo is used throughout the Web site, all collateral and corporate identity pieces (letterhead, envelopes and business cards) to strengthen brand identification.

Collateral – A new corporate literature series consists of a brochure providing an overview of Contrax Furnishings and its services; individual trifold brochures featuring a single service; a brochure outlining the company’s typical project procedures and timeline; an easy-order catalog of the company’s most popular furniture; and a product binder.

HTML Surveys – Follow-up customer surveys for both major projects and small purchases provide for consistent, valuable customer feedback while carrying through the overall new collateral design style.

HTML Newsletter – Quarterly e-newsletter featuring news about Contrax Furnishings and industry news will also carry through the contemporary design look that characterizes the Web site and collateral pieces.

“We are very excited about introducing Contrax Furnishings’ new brand identity,” said Bill Latham, President of Contrax Furnishings. “Our new look positions the company exactly where it should be, and delivers an image that lets everyone know that Contrax Furnishings is the leader in its industry. This new look will help us achieve the next level of growth.”
